End of the year December 2025

JBC’s Largest Celebration and Commisioning Service!

Dear friends and supporters,

As we approach the Christmas holidays, we would like to share a brief message marking the close of a challenging yet remarkable year, and to express heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff, students, and both our local and international partners. We give thanks to the Lord for uniting us and sustaining the work accomplished throughout this year.

On Friday, 28 November, we held our annual Celebration and Commissioning Service at Rosebank Union Church. Once again, we witnessed continued growth and had the joy of celebrating JBC’s 1000th graduate. This year, 160 students received their certificates, including eighteen who were awarded their Occupational Certificates accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations. Nearly 1,000 students, family members, and friends gathered to witness and share in this special occasion. With the cheers, singing and dancing of all there, and the joy on the graduates’ faces, it was truly a memorable event.

As Christmas approaches, we pray that you delight in the wonder of Emmanuel, God with us, and join us in giving thanks for His abundant goodness and ongoing work among us. May you experience a blessed Christmas, filled with His peace and goodwill to all.

Please pray for funding for our new Alex Campus. The site development plan and building plans have all been approved.

Please pray for our Training of Trainers conference to be held in Johannesburg in January 2026.

Please pray for the Principals’ gathering, also happening in January 2026. Principals for our sister colleges across Africa will spend time in prayer and planning.
