August 2025 Prayer Letter

Dear Partners

We are thankful to have passed our academic halfway mark for 2025. It has been a busy eight months, and staff and students are looking forward to a well-deserved break in September.

Our students have been working hard on their assignments, and we are proud to say that most did very well, receiving excellent marks. They also participated in Preaching Workshops and Bible study training, and although nervous, are clearly growing in their Bible teaching. The winter months always require more effort, but staff and students have been diligent and we sense a huge amount of work has been covered. Sadly, a few staff members have lost loved ones recently, and it has been great so see how the team has rallied round, supported them, and covered for them as they have travelled and attended funerals and grieved.

Please join us in giving thanks for

Continued support from our donors and supporters, and the opportunities to form new partnerships.

The growth JBC is seeing; in student numbers, partnering with local churches, and the growing Training of Trainers. We are looking forward to celebrating with our sister college the Institute of Bible Teaching in Bulawayo as they open their wonderful new campus in October (see photographs below)

Recent events e.g. our annual Christianity Indaba, Mission Week, Connect Course at Christ Church Blairgowrie, Training the Trainers West Africa and visiting speakers.
